Are you thinking of going on a sailing cruising adventure in the Med this summer 2008? Then why not join us as crew on a cost-sharing basis, onboard our sailing yacht Night Image (a Verl/Hustler 33). We are a young and fun couple currently looking for sailing companions/crew who will be happy to take part in our voyage for any length of time and portion of journey starting from June 2008 and ending in mid-september.

 

Where? 

We will set off from Preveza to go and explore the beautiful Ionian islands of Greece (Corfu’, Lefkas, Paxos, Kefalonia, Zakinthos etc.) and venture a bit further south along the wild Peloponnesus mainland coast (click here for more details on the planned route). We will then climb up the Ionian again and head back for Preveza where we will end the season.

 

Whether you are:

-        new to sailing but intrigued by it

-        already an experienced seadog

-        or looking to gain sea miles for your RYA certificates or just keen to learn more about sailing. (there is plenty of opportunity for learning and practising navigation, sail handling, and seamanship).

-         maybe just looking for a relaxing break from the hectic world on land

-         a backpacker or traveller looking for good company and some adventure

We don’t expect you to be an experienced sailor, and neither do we expect you to “work hard” onboard. The only things we expect from you is: 1) the willingness to help in doing those few things necessary to run the yacht smoothly, such as sail changing, steering, mooring, cooking, keeping the boat fairly tidy and contribute to the expenses. 2) a positive attitude to life and people.

We are relaxed people, love to see people getting involved and are always happy to hear everybody’s opinions in the everyday decision onboard.
